Hi everyone,
As promised, here's the result for our first ever Egypt Blog Awards!
Due to some personal comments among admins and users, I decided to alter the result a little bit to give more people to win, and promoting this Award in the future. Nah, this is just a game, dont mind it too much. A 'beta' test for exact. Thanks to all participants who nominated and voted in this Awards. The prizes may look like a bluff but in change, we'll give something else for the winners. Expect more for the next time. Maybe an SLR or a motorbike.
Here's the results, and the prizes will be posted in PERUBATANonline. Yes, they'll be posted ONLINE because they're wallpapers and banners for your blog!

The Voting Stage has ended and the counting will start right after this entry is published. Hopefully we'll get the results by tomorrow, or I'll announce it on 1st November. Be sure to check it out, and find out which is the Best Blog in PERUBATAN's blogosphere. Sometimes I personally think this is rather a popularity award, but never mind. Except for some blogs that was disqualified due to not having the requirements provided and their place is given to the next in ranking. All blogs are listed according to the number of nominations they got. Some categories have less than 5 finalists. This is due to lack of nominations.
The Voting Stage starts from 13-27th October 2009 and ONE winner from each categories will be announced on the next day. You can only vote once, and as we didnt have specific way to know who's voting twice or more, we hope you all will be honest and respect this sacred awards; no cheating.
We're sorry to announce that we require your name in the Voting Form as one way to avoid cheating. All votes will not be disclosed to the outside. This is actually beneficial to you because we're planning to give those who have most of his/her vote become the winner will get a special prize (maybe). ONLY PERUBATAN's member have the rights to vote.
Prizes will be announced later. As for now we have some banners for the winners, like the cheap awards you see on any blog, except that it is officially given by mediaPERUBATAN as representative of the voters. We're currently having LE1000 for hampers as prizes but if we have sponsors, next time we'll try to grab a DSLR. =P

For Aidilfitri Celebration this year, mediaPERUBATAN proudly brings you Egypt Blog Awards 2009 for the first time. No more unofficial Award Tags you got from your blogging friends, we brings you the real awards with the real gifts worth more than LE1000! (Joking, who needs money in this virtual world?)
This blog awards is held to recognize the excellence of renowned medical bloggers from the Egypt region, and maybe one day we'll be having the award for the Middle East region, who knows? There is always a first step to a bigger jump.
Honouring the best of the blogosphere, we will be running two weeks of open nominations and two weeks of voting. Stay tuned for more information this 27th September!
